Its been several years since I did mine, so I don't
remember all the details. I do remember that I
broke the glass trying to pry the frame pieces off.
So....be very careful about this. There are the
two bolts on each side, and two nuts under the
dash. Fairly easy to get loose with the seats out, and
once you locate them. Would be tough with seats in
unless you have a skinny teenager handy.
All the pieces of the frame unscrew with each other.
I recommend lots of "PB-Blaster" (get it at Wal Mart)
to loosen up these screws. Do not strip the heads!
If doing it again, I would take the whole thing off as
a unit from the car, and set it down on a lot
of old blankets, and very carefully take it apart
from there.
Take notes on how it came apart, and in what order.
If your getting all the pieces rechromed it may be awhile
before you put it back together. Shop around the venders
for new rubber, prices and quality vary.
I copied this to the list, which I usually don't do for
help answers, but I'm not certain I remembered
everything right. Someone on the list will most
certainly correct whatever I might have missed.
Hope this helps,
Jim
