Hello Everyone,
Where do I begin. The last couple months have been pretty
hectic. I quit my job in April, not realizing how frustrating it would be to
find a new one. Solvang was a blast but I did not get any offers for my
white '68 despite the diorama I made. Mom and Dad constantly riding me to
get married or get out of the house. Buying another roadster didn't help the
situation either.
I sold the white '68 1600 5/17/02. It was like the giant cloud over my
shoulders had disappeared. I have several job interviews lined up. ANd my
Dad wants to drive the 67.5 to work(shaw right!) The bottom line is that I
have finally found the roadster of my dreams, and I can be a happy man now.
With help of Bill and Carol Collins, Dave and Phyllis Almazan, I am the
proud owner of 1967.5 1600. But it is far from ordinary; those of you that
know Herb or Bill already know this!
I am completely in love with it, I can talk forever about it and I have been
waiting to share it with everyone since 5/5/02. I put up a third album just
for the 67.5 and some of the adventures it has taken me in the past weeks.
Here's a list of my albums and what's in them starting with the 67.5 album:

www.picturetrail.com/alvin2 ---67.5! and friends, roadster guys
www.picturetrail.com/alving ---Solvang '02 pics
www.picturetrail.com/alvingog1 ---My white '68, Francis' cars,
roadster guys

The third item I wanted to say is about building 1/24 and 1/25 scale car
models. If any of you have one of those Nichimi, Fujimi, or Douyusha
Fairlady roadster kits, I can build them for you. Want it to look EXACTLY
like your 1/1 car? Need a low windsheild conversion? Or custom paint?
Lowered? stretched?hot-rodded? It's my hobby. I'll send pics of my work to
show you how good I am.

I also wanted to thank Francis and Angie Anand for all their help, Ken
Pletcher for his time and patience, and Gerardo Magana for his
hospitality(I'll visit you sooner or later).
If you ever have the time, try and have coffee with the Modesto crowd, it's
fun. Peace. Alvin G.
