The aluminum bearing retainer (part number 51,52 on Gordon's magnificently handy website @ http://www.gordon-glasgow.org/Images/31.gif ) WILL BREAK. The tabs will pop right off - you must use a press tool of some sort to get the pressure off the tabs and onto the retainer body.- and tapping the bearing in seemed to work better than pressing.... glad I had another......... /// datsun-roadsters@autox.team.net mailing list |
