Brake Bleeding Part II

Thanks for all the help... I wasn't sure if these screws weren't some 
exception to the rule...

We got the brakes bled and noticed a bit of an improvement on the stopping.  
I seem to remember a thread awhile back about drum brakes vs disc brakes.  
How do they compare to each other?  Having never driven a car with drum 
brakes all the way around, I'm not sure what I should expect.
