Well, it was a pretty good weekend all in all. I picked up what looks like
a turn key motor for my '67 1600, and got to go for my first ride in a
roadster. What a BLAST! I have to thank Fergus for that. I can't wait to
get mine running now. With some luck on my hydraulics I might actually make
Solvang.
The motor I got is a smog motor, the one in the car is pre-smog, so here
go the questions. Do the water pumps interchange? Are all of the bolts
different sizes (I noticed the timing cover ones are different)? Do I have
to modify my pre smog dizzy to fit this one or is it a drop in deal?
Finally, what do I have to do to convert my single reservoir brake master to
a dual? That's about all the questions for now but I'm sure I'll have more
tomorrow.
