Since the deaths of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger in '94, it's amazing
how many drivers have walked away unhurt from some horrific F1 crashes - the
only fatalities since that time have been two marshalls in 2000 and 2001,
sadly hit by stray wheels.
Check out the following 3 clips - the Fittipaldi backflip came before Senna's
death - the cars were strong then. However, 185mph into a concrete wall off
an uneven circuit when your car's barely touching the ground (thanks to
lowered tyre pressures while following a slow safety car for 5 laps) was even
too much for Senna's Williams to bear. A great shame.

The Spa clip involved 20 cars - all drivers walked away unhurt. In the last
clip Burti and Schumacher both made the restart of the race (although,
needless to say, their cars didn't).
