A/C in Roadsters

Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone has A/C installed in their car....or knows of 
someone who does.  What is the manufacturer of the system?  Was the 
installation difficult?  Does, or could, the compressor be mounted in the 
smog pump location?  Would A/C work best in a 1600 or 2000 or would it matter 
(as far as overheating is concerned)?  I'm thinking about turning my car back 
into a daily driver, but the summer heat kills me and my balding head...
