I think DOn answered that question pretty well. Heck, I broke 6 of 9 teeth on
the pinion after two years of hammering on it with a Solex U20.
I think the best way to do a swap like this is to tube-frame the whole car and
hang a fiberglass copy of the roadster body on it.
