Stud

Has anyone swapped out the wheel studs for longer ones?  I will be using
spacers and need longer studs.  ARP makes Chevy racing studs in 3 1/2" length
7/16x20.  They have a knurl size of .486" or .580".  Will either of these
work?  Has anyone found a dirt cheap supply of studs that will suit my porpose
perfectly?
