Hello Michael and all,

I have done a bit of tinkering with British SU needles in my 1600. The
one you want is the ADQ needle. Actually better than any of the Nissan
needles. The Nissan needles universally start out too rich at idle then go
too lean in the mid and top end. The ADQ needle starts out leaner and is
richer in the middle and top. As a bonus, I was able to get my '66 to pass
the smog test for all years of roadsters with no drivability problems. They
are not normally imported to the US because they did not come on any car that
was sent here. I order them from England a dozen at a time and resell them.
(Shipping on 12 is the same as on 2.) Currently I have two pairs on hand. Let
me know if you are interested in a pair. For list folks I ship you a pair and
if you like them send me $40.00, if you don't like them then send the needles
back. So far none of the needles have come back.

                                                                         thx,
