Over the holiday week I plan to re-connect the heater on the beast. Has
anyone made mods to the plumbing arrangements for this on an early 1600? I
know the brass valve is cute and all, but the whole thing looks like it was
put together by demented elves. Too many points of failure for my liking. If
anyone has a reliable alternative, I'd be grateful to see drawings/photos
and or the parts used to accomplish the task, before I start pulling the
plugs in everything.
