I was examining the steering wheel on my 67.5 2000 and noticed some
corrosion on the metal part that looked like what you would see on
aluminum. I took a magnet and placed it on the wheel and sure enough it
did not stick. I put the magnet on another steering wheel I have and it
stuck. The non magnetic wheel is also about a half pound lighter. I was
not aware of any Datsun Roadster steering wheels being aluminum. Anyone
know anything about this?
