Putting the "Donut" on the rear on a front wheel drive car is fine, but if
you want to reduce wear and tear on your spider gears on a rear wheel drive
vehicle, do not put that tire on the rear of a rear wheel drive vehicle,
unless of course it is the same diameter as the opposite tire. It will turn
at a slower rate of speed, causing your spider gears to turn unneccessarily.
or if you plan on traveling a very short distance. I was in Las Vegas last
month and was following a guy that had a Donut on his car, on the Freeway
doing the speed limit, when the donut blew. He had to be on that Donut for
awhile for it to blow. No? Pat
