Yes, you remove the spring.
Then, you break the jamb nut loose from rod stop.
turn the rod stop out until the desired "wiggle"
Return the jamb nut tight against the rod stop and replace the spring,
Voila! an adjusted clutch!

It won't get into the system and it's a good idea. Much better than rounding
off your bleeder valve, which you'll find listed in the big book of bad
ideas, page 44.
