Actually Larry some of the guys I have talked to with sentra's with 300hp or
better sr20det are still getting 25 to 30 mpg when they keep their foot out
of it, when they are playing it drops to about 15mpg.

This all sounds like fun but calling most a street or daily driver would
require an attached trailer with a spare gas tank. That would help keep it
on the ground though. 8^). Larry.

I plan on doing the black top sr20det conversion it comes with 225hp can be
massaged rather easily to 300 to 325 and it is light, and I can use the
200sx 5spd (still considering rear end options). I think that is plenty to
scare myself with and do alittle boxster/miata/vette eating.

I can vouch for that! 318 on the dyno last year to the
rear wheels and I can spin the 12" slicks when ever I
so choose. Also, I have learned you don't shift hard
from 1st to 2nd. Has a tendency to break spider gears
into little bits!

Don (I now carry a spare rear end in the trailer)
