Porsche prices are outta sight. I have a Porsche catalog and I almost fell
out of my chair looking at the prices.
It's no wonder that my neighbor who works on Porsches, BMWs etc. told me to
stay away from them and begged me not to buy a 944 I was looking at. He told
me what a clutch replacement cost and I almost passed out - $1200, which
includes 10 hours or so of labor. Water pumps, even aftermarket I think were
about 200 just for the part.
Being middle class, I bought an Integra.
