Good to hear from another interested potential roadster owner.
Here's a couple of cars listed for sale in the area. I called on the one in
Prescott Valley and it's a 1600. Also here's a link to the roadster picnic
in Papago park next sunday. Come join us even if you don't have one yet!

Subject: New member introduction
Hello!
Here's our introduction per the instructions we read about joining this
list:
My husband Len and I are in the process of locating a Roadster, so we are
currently Roadster-less. I found out about this group from one of the many
websites I've been visiting, and am looking forward to participating in the
list.
We're looking for a '67 or earlier 1600. Our main consideration in body
style is a preference for the low windshield. Although we live in Phoenix,
Arizona we are quite willing to travel a bit. Our dream Roadster doesn't
have to run or even be mechanically complete as we both have experience
dealing with that, but it has to have a good body and frame since neither
of
us have ever done bodywork. If anyone knows of such a Roadster available
for
sale, please let us know.
I've got a few questions about acquiring a Roadster for restoration:
1. Approximately how much should we expect to pay?
2. Are there any problems inherent to Roadsters (such as rust in specific
locations) that we should look out for?
3. How readily available will replacement parts be?
Thanks for any information!
Charlotte and Len
