A higher pressure radiator cap allows the system to operate at a HIGHER temperature, thus making it more efficient and allowing it to remove more BTUs of energy because of a greater differential of temperature between the air and the radiator. What that means is the system will dissipate more heat under "normal conditions" before you need to turn on your heater in an effort to add additional cooling, also your heater will work better.
