Hi all,

I just subscribed to the list, as I am looking at a roadster to buy. I've
found a 1966 1600 for a good price, but there are a couple of things that I'm
not too sure about, and hopefully you all can help me out:

1. Steering feels pretty rough - (sticky, hard to turn) I understand that the
steering boxes can be pretty $ to replace - is there any other swappable part
that will work so I can make it driveable? I heard mention of a mustang swap -
any info?
2. The rear end has been hit - not enough to damage the frame, but it's
wrinkled in the rear pretty badly (fuel tank is ok), and the bumper's toast -
what is the availability of body parts?
3. lots of interior bits and pieces are missing - are these readily
available?
4. Brakes are shot - apparently a slave cylinder. again, easily found? I've
also heard about a Volvo brake swap - any info (model, year, etc.)

Thanks in advance for any replies...
