Pat, Seems like I remember there's a plastic trim that finishes the edge 
of those big Goldwing freeway cruiser bikes..How's about dropping in on a 
Honda cycle shop that deals in those more bloated units.

Also, didn't the fuzzy dice emporiums once carry a vinyl door edge strip 
much like your wheel arch trim?  I remember black silver and gold.  I put 
the black on my brand new 1985 Tercel....so it's been awhile.
