Hello all,
I have not yet begun tearing into the prize that I dragged home, but I did
notice something odd when I hoisted the block off of the rear shelf. The
oil filter base appears to have been cast with a place for a pipe plug to
go. This is NOT the racing oil filter base that is set up for the oil
cooler, but it does not look like the ones that I have seen on 1600s and
other 2000s because of this casting difference. Does anyone have any idea
what that is all about?
