Fred asked about the L20 in the RHD Z. Japan taxes by engine size. Over
2000 cc's is very, very high. Under 800 cc's is reasonably low. That's why
Japan has those triple turbo micro cars. The L20 is a destroked L24, and as
the cc's went up over here they kept them the same over there. I think
that's why there are so many crank and head and piston combinations possible
with the straight six. Maybe one of the gurus has better facts than I do.

The proof that RHD cars are inspectable and drivable in the USA is sitting
in my back yard. This Z is a Home Market car, imported by a serviceman from
Japan, and has all the labels and instructions in Japanese. The only thing
I can read on the fuzebox is the amp size of the fuze. When first inspected,
it had a speedometer that read Kilometers only, later swapped for a 240 Z
Miles/Kilos
one, and the water temp reads in Centigrade (or Celsius) degrees. It even
has a metric voltmeter.
