Prices are indeed going up. Just a couple years ago a few BADROC'ers watched
a running 2000 roadster in great shape (near-perfect body) go for $1500 in
an auction in San Francisco. (It was driven off the lot.) And this bashed-up
one has a reserve for $2500? Golly! Plus, doesn't the ad say it's a salvage
title?
If someone on the list has the winning bid, I have a near-perfect roadster
rear-end that can make it well again. And my reserve is lower! No, it's not
currently for sale, but if someone forks out $2500 for that eBay car then I
could probably come to an agreement to sell!
