I took my frame to a fabrication shop, had them cut out the exhaust holes in
the x-frame and weld in 3 inch tubing so I could run 2 1/4 in diameter tubing
for the exhaust. CDM only has a 2 inch flex piece so the exhaust doesn't
rattle in the frame. Since there is not a 2 1/4 inch flex piece I will
probably just go with 2 inch pipe from the header back. Would anybody be able
to tell me if there would be any performance gain from 2 inch to 2 1/4 inch
exhaust. Street driven mostly, some autocross. Or at least it will be when I
get the car back together. 2L, ported head, solex B cam, solex carbs, 5 speed
