For all:
I posted a much longer message to the 510 bluebird list, but for my roadster
friends, the following applys: Tire Rack did real well! 3 days after the
order the tires were in my driveway. My favorite tire guy mounted/balanced
them with new stems for 54$, so was good to go for just a bit more than
50 per tire. These Sumitomos are 195/60/13 and were $40 each. H speed
rated, 260 tread wear, not all weather, but nice high performance tires.
Very sticky compared to the POS no name all weather tires that were
on the car. Best part is $40 per tire. The $800 wagon now goes
around corners like on rails. Of course the 280ZX struts and
vented brakes, and autocross springs help. As well as the
comp front roll bar....all this stuff bought used for low $$.
I need to lower and stiffen the
back end, then its autocross time. Sure, as list members
previously stated, they are not Hoosiers or Yokohamas, but
the price is right! And they will have semi- resonable
tread wear.
