In September, when we were busy with a host of roadster repairs, I had my
father's roadster at my house where I had access to my pnuematic tools,
etc. for the brake work. My father really wanted to show the car to his
buddy who repeatedly teased him about the car that not being roadworthy
after nearly one year of work. So, after a long day of replacing the brake
system with new components, I finally finished at about 9:30pm. Eventhough
I didn't have a windshield in the car, my buddy and I drove the 20 miles to
my father's house to show the car to his buddy.

Let me just tell you, even in September's mild 50 degree nights, driving
without a windshield at 60mph is a very cold experience. Not to mention
the bugs that slam into your face and eyes at that speed (you can watch
them in the headlights as the zero in on your eyeball--zeeeeeeeeeeeWHAP!)

I'm content to wait until spring to climb into the driver's seat of the
roadster.
