As far as I remember, the only SAE on later cars were brake line fittings
and lugnuts
Just about everything that was unchanged from previous models remained SAE
fine. Most items attaching to the body, horns, radiator, radiator shroud and
scoop, hood latches (top and bottom) voltage regulator and others will be
attached with either 5/16 or 1/4 SAE fine thread. My rule is if it's not the
engine, try SAE first.
