The trim on the front of the hood scoop (above the D A T S U N) is
stainless steel, not chrome. It is held on with some mild crimps--just
carefully pull it off and then polish it up. Mine was badly scratched from
a bad previous paint job prepwork, so I used 200, 300, 400, 600, 800 grit
sandpaper successively and then #0000 steel wool and aluminum polish.
Looks like chrome now!!
