Hi Mike,
        Yep you guessed it. JC-whitney sells some knock-offs that are'nt 
half bad in quality... I jsut gotta figure out how to mount them and make it
look good.  The base is designed to fit inside something else. It would fit in 
a roadster tail light housing if I increased the diameter of the opening maybe
a quarter inch or so.
