There is a car show, "Horses to Horsepower at Sequoia High School in
Redwood City, Ca this Sunday. My son Daniel, a student at the Academy of
Arts in San Francisco, and new BADROCer, white 69 1600 from Mike Young,
drew up the flyers for this event. Mostly American iron, but fun. Even
had Cement trucks in 49er paint schemes last year. Daniel also told me
that Nissan is building a new design studio in San Francisco, that will
be linked to Japan via satellite, that will be working with the Academy
of Arts transportation design dept. Dan is hoping he'll get to help
"design the next roadster!! " He doesn't really know what project they
have in mind, but said that Nissan reps were there a few weeks ago and
seemed impressed with what the school showed them.
