After disconnecting and reconnecting all of the hoses, and checking and
rechecking, I still couldn't get the new fuel pump to work (arfter
disconnecting the coil and turning the engine over a few times). Ready
to give up, and decided to call the tow truck. My wife and I pushed
the car out onto our driveway which has a small incline up hill and put
blocks under the wheel. I tried the car one last time before the tow
truck appeared and behold, fuel finally started flowing through the
glass filter bowl, and engine started. Took the car for a long drive
and everything is back to normal. I wonder if gravity had anything to
do with it since the gas tank was higher than the engine. Thanks, Steve
