Yes I am still around. I guess I must have been having some email
problems the last couple weeks as this is the fourth person who has
apparently sent me email I never got.
Anyway, here's an update. When I got back from the MA show I had a
message from Sony. The CD production ran into problems and it took quite
a while to figure out what the problem was and how we could fix it. By
the time it was resolved I had already started work on the next issue.
So I have elected to put both 16 and 17 on a single CD. I will put some
or all of issue 17 up on-line this time too, just as I did with issue
16. The schedule now is looking like 17 will be ready to go in about 3-4
weeks and so I should think that the CDs should go out in about 6-7
weeks. Sorry about this but I am still on the steep end of this digital
learning curve. The problem we had would never had occurred to me and
made the entire magazine unreadable.
In the interim I have also been getting caught up on the backlog of
customer service work. I sent out well over 400 back issues, new subs,
renewals, and merchandise orders over the last month and a half or so,
and got the database up to date (as of July 1 at any rate). This is a
lot of work for one person and I am trying my best to stay on top of it
(until I can afford to hire someone to help its just me doing everything
again). I appreciate everyone's patience as I get this sorted out and
turned around. :-)
