Mick, My car had been sitting for awhile, I took the gas tank off and had it
boiled out and coated.  Cost $ 80. I had to replace one of the fuel lines as
they had closed up with old gas and trash.  I used plenty of carb cleaner to
spray into the lines to flush them out.  Good Luck,
