I agree about the 1600. On a SoCalROC run last winter, Gary Cohen brought
out his really nice 66 1600 and led the way up a very steep and twisty hill
called Boquet Canyon Road (Vic Laury's favorite).

It was everything I could do in my 67.5 2000 Solex 2000 to keep up with him.
Remember the gearing is different in these cars. They have PLENTY of get up
and go.
