Who needs 3 days of sunshine to have fun? Just a few hours of sun each
day, a few showers, a hundred or so vintage race cars and 2.4 miles of track
was enough for the OROC, ZACO & ZCCO crowd this weekend.  Ben, Walt & Dan;
sorry you didn't make it this year. You missed another good time. Bill
Frizzle, I got more nice comments from the Z group on your decals (I'll
discuss sales in a separate note). Mike, I have an XL OROC T-shirt coming
your way. Chris Luers spent many an extra hour with the artist getting it
just right. Give me a couple of days to get it in the mail. Bonnie, thanks
for coordinating with Chris & Diane and ZCCO to make the three clubs act as
one. On the parade laps it was great to see all the roadster in front of us
and just as nice to watch the line up a Z's following. Lavern, thanks for
the ride. Hope I didn't leave too much mud behind. Teddy & Dave, thanks
for representing PA and taking care of Steve's dilemma, roadside Saturday
night. Jim, Cathy & Cathy, glad to see you made it down. maybe next year
you'll have a street legal roadster to play with to go along with the GP
racers. Carl, nice to see you and the family again. John, so glad you and
Marna made it down. I hope you got a chance to meet most of the members.
MidOhio can be a bit overwhelming for a first OROC event. I hope you make
it to more as summer goes by.

Congrats to Tom Phelan for capturing the coveted "Most miles driven to
MidOhio" (700+ from North Carolina. - Sid, you can beat that!)

And the surprise of the event, "Most club participation" award to, (drum
roll please!), The Ohio Roadster Owners Club!!!!! many thanks to Chris and
Diane, our co founders and co presidents, for the hours of hard work and
effort that go into making OROC the great club that it is and making events
like the Vintage GP so much fun, ... rain or shine!
To everybody that couldn't make it this year, next June I promise 3 days
of sunshine for all first time attendees! To everybody that made it, I
enjoyed the ride home with Vic at the wheel of his Alfa.
