Roman & Shawn,
While I can't help with too much you asked for, let me at least introduce
you two to a few of the best Datsun sites out there:
<http://www.datsun.org> Greg Valazza's award winning site. Take your
time and go through everything but your instructions to sign up for the
roadster e-mail list are in the first section, "News & Information". Scroll
down towards the bottom and you'll find it.
<http://www.classicdatsun.com/> Classic Datsun Motorsports. My choice
for finding the parts I need along with great technical advice. Tell Dennis
or Less (they both answer the phones at times) I said Hi!
<http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/3823/index.html> The Early
Datsun Home page. This one site has more information on the beginnings of
Datsun and their cars up to 1970 than the rest of the web combined! This is
my reference site for both Roadsters and every other model line they
produced from the '30s to 1970. Great site, but don't sign on unless you
have time. tons of information and photos will keep you up all night!
And from Greg's site there are links to a bunch of other site.
Shawn, welcome to the list! best of luck with your roadster.
Paul
Ohio Roadster Owners Club
1969 1600
BTW, Join SoCal. All the clubs are great and being a member of one is
the best way to find out about friendly shops in your area and spare used
parts!
As for that rear end, ask a club member; somebody has to have a parts car
laying out back. Or call CDM for tech info.
