I finally bit the bullet and had the 1600 professionally painted. There was
some rust on the underside of both front fenders which I had repaired 6 years
ago but was bleeding through. I bought 2 of Ross's (sports imports) patch
panels. The custom shop that did the work for me was VERY impressed with the
fit. The car came back looking great. Spending the weekend putting the trim
back on including some nice NOS emblems from Rallye.
If any of you east coasters need some nice quality work I highly recommend
this small shop in MA. I wouldn't use him for show work but he does very nice
work at a fair price. (got a nice break for paying cash)
