Hey all,

First off, a quick off topic note. Just got my cable modem. If you don't
have high speed internet access: It is worth it.

Anyhow, I have had my 70 2000 for a little while and have started to become
familiar with its quirks and other habits. The car did need some work and
the throttle bodies on the carbs were replaced and it was in dire need of a
valve job. Also, my choke cables are WAY short and I have to manually tap
the mechanism or I will run too rich. But other than that, the car is great.
It rides low and is much more comfy than my 67. That may be because of the
PHHHHHAAAAAATTTTT tires I have on this car. It is much quieter than the
solex car and has a much more plush interior as my 67 has none to speak of.

My 67 is F-A-S-T (with apologies to Vic and Craig) but I refer to this car
as Shake, Rattle, and go because it is not a cruisin' car. It pulls in the
high revs better than my 70, but the 70 is more nimble and handles better. I
actually like the padded dash, although I like the toggles better than the
push/pull switches. I start the 67 with my right hand and the 70 with my
left. Haven't figured out which I like better.

So both my cars have aspects I like and dislike. I guess we are all in
pursuit of the "perfect roadster". Guess I'll get mine from the combination
of driving both.
