All,
I have always thought that Greg Vallaza's model guide on Datsun.org was the
most outstanding quick reference for the differences in the later models.
Having just purchased a 1970 2000, I refer to it a lot to get an idea about
the differences.
As I read it the following is true:
1968
No side markers at all
Single Back up light
License plate light on bumper
1969
Round rear marker
Teardrop from marker
Dual License plate lights on either side of plate
Single Back up light
1970
Front and rear side markes are square
Dual License plate lights
Second reverse light
I know that some cars that were actually 68s were titled in 69 and 69 to 70.
Doesn't Dann at Rallye have a detailed page discussing this?
