"There is good reason to save an OE door for a 68 Mustang. Somebody will
buy it at a good price when it is needed. A door for a 68 roadster, well
I think a few just went in the dumpster. No demand, -the parts get junked,
end of story. Everyone loses."
A friend of mine worked at Ft Wayne Datsun in 77- 85 - the dealership
PITCHED roadster parts (windshields, etc). I visited the parts counter and
bought up stuff at $.10- $.25 on the dollar.
Bottom line - there was no demand. It was on the Z and sedans.
