Little Junkyard Humor:
Years back a fellow was helping out a friend needing parts
for her 510. They pulled up in front of the wrecking yard,
and went looking for a few trim items.
Few hours later, they came out to find their 510 was 'stolen'.
Suddenly they spotted the car ON TOP of a pile of others. No
drivetrain, no seats in it. Figured out it was "Karma" and
started to walk away.
Owner of the wrecking yard was mortified. Yep, they had parked
right next to a long line of cars to be scrapped. With a little
scurring around, they "rebuilt" the car for the young lady.
Used engine, transmission, rear end, fuel tank. Even found some
straight bumpers, etc for her. No charge for the extra trim items.
They drove off, rather happy about the whole thing. ;-)
