Hello All,
Well, SoCalROC has been going strong for almost four months now. We have had
two gatherings and I have gotten to know some of the people and we have all
had a great time enjoying the cars and that special sense of camraderie you
get when you gather with other owners.
One of the first things I did when I organized the group was to build a web
site for our club. I will fess up and say that it was the first web site
that I ever attempted to put together. I think I did a good job, but I also
felt that I had just about reached the limit of my talents when it came to
building a good web site.
So at the SoCalROC meet on February 6th, Jim Bunte basically asked to create
and maintain a new web site. Jim does this for a living and he truly is an
artist when it comes to things digital. He has a lot more resources
available and I think he will do a great job in running the SoCalROC
website. So Jim has labored and the new site is now on line. Anyone
attempting to hit the old URL of http://www.netcom.com/~andr/socalroc.htm
will be redirected to the new site starting tomorrow, March 24th. So to Jim
I pass the torch. Check out the new site. I think you will like it.
