     Greg,

Scott Perschke, John Wierz, and I went down to Charlottesville,
Virginia last year to see a guy who had a whole bunch of them (12-14)
plus 2 Toyota S800's and a Toyota 2000GT RHD(!). He had virtually one
of every variant of Honda roadster, S500, S600, S800; chain drive,
universal shaft drive; hardtops, coupes (yes!), a 5-speed; yellow,
white, red, blue. Nice guy, we looked around took photos, it rained
hard (another story...) I can scan the photos I have if anyone is
interested, but they're a little dark (we were indoors and I didn't
     the right film).

Apparently, there really aren't that many in the U.S., I'm not sure
they were imported here directly (I think through Canada though), if
they were imported, only the west coast. Quite a few service men
brought them home from Japan. Parts are probably hard to come by.

Scott probably has more written details on the trip, he did a post to
the list which is in the archives. (Scott help me on the date)

     Hopeful and still looking.....

I was looking at a book at Barnes and Noble last night about sports cars.
It had a nice section on the Datsun 1600, although it pictured the
dash/interior of a 2000 - oh well.

The book also had a nice section on 60's Honda Roadsters...the S500, S600
and S800.

Has anyone ever seen one, driven one, owned one?
Would it make a nice pal for my 66 1600?
Know anyone selling one?
