RE: Idler or Steering Boxes

I am in the process of taking apart my idler box and then the steering
box.
Is there an easy way to pull the lower arm off either box.  I was
attempting to use a 2 arm puller with little success.  Do I need a 3
prong puller with more muscle (the puller not me). < G >   I do not want
to break the arm in the process of removal.  Info would be helpful.
