On the timing chain components, one way to find out is
to buy them and take a look.

Sadly, I was helping a friend change the timing chain set
on his Z24 (2400cc Nissan) motor. Single roller on those,
and he had bought a "inexpensive" timing chain set. Pure
Taiwan Junk! Best place for it was the nearest Trash Can,
and to buy the OEM Nissan parts.

If all the parts turn out to be OEM Nissan, it would
be great. Then again what is the cost for a new front
cover, major head and bottom end rebuild if a "looks OK"
timing chain breaks!

Admitted by the time you spend $600 in parts to use all
OEM Nissan it gets expensive.

Cheers,

Tom
