PO accident? or maybe it's a 68 rebdged to be a 69. Datsun was known to
do that.

Funny you should ask that. I've been scanning over various web sites
and
have come up with some questions. The '69 is supposed to have tear drop
running lights on the sides, yet mine doesn't. Now back when I bought
the
car I had the interior completely taken out and reupholstered, the
engine/tranny, doors, hood, trunk lid removed and the entire car sand
blasted down to bare metal. Then reprimed and painted. When it was
'bare'
there were no indications there had ever been running lights on this
body.
I say its a '69 because that's what the title says but...
Oh, sorry, I transgress, the VIN is SRL31104646.
Any thoughts on the missing running lights?
