As I'd like to autocross my '68 2000, I have some questions re suspension:
1) The Nissan Motorsports catalog states the NISMO "racing suspension"
springs will lower the car about 2". Is this the way to go or can I simply
shorten the stock springs and end up with a good increase spring rate?
2) Are the stock front springs the same for the 1600 and the 2000?
3) What is the rating for the stock front springs?
One reason for considering a spring upgrade aside from any autocross
intentions is I need to stiffen up my ITC 510 rear suspension and "they" say
the 2000 front springs are what to use. If this is this case I'll have a good
explanation for my wife for purchasing the "racing" springs. I appreciate any
advice.
