It's not that hard, really. The only thing you need a machine shop for is to
press the collar on and off. When I did mine, it came apart really easily,
using the brake drum as a slide hammer (turn it around backwards and put the
nuts on it). Then you take the whole assembly with backing plate to the
machine shop with the new parts and they cut or press off the old collar and
press on the new one.
