If you stripped the hole in the head the plug goes into, I don't know if the inserts will work. They may not seal completly with the pressure behind them. Best to remove the head, have a machine shop bore the hole out and press (tight fit) an insert in. Also, if you tap the hole for an insert while the head is installed, the metal filings will fall into the cylinder. Kim 68 2000 |
