Yah.
"Soul", "character", "wheel fell off yesterday", whatever, with an
older car you HAVE to get involved with it or it'll fall apart pretty
quickly. With a new car, if it even hiccups, it's back to the dealer.
So I personally think it grows on you because you HAVE to care for it!
But then, unlike a horse, you can park it in the garage all winter, and
while it might need a bit of work to get it going again when you're
ready for it, at least it's not dead!
But no free fertilizer.
